If you are an avid dog park person, we ask that you refrain from going to a dog park at least 10 days prior to boarding your dog. We try our best to keep unwanted problems at our kennel...ie. kennel cough, doggie flu or worse. Thank you for your help.

DOG Boarding Premier Pet Resort Sun-Golden Kennels offers premium care for your dogs in a clean, bright, secure and loving atmosphere. The happiness, health and care of your best friend is always our 1st priority. Your dog is a part of our family from the minute they arrive. Our FUN & STIMULATING play yards have everything a dog could want. Each yard has multi-level decks with umbrellas, lot of indestructible toys, such as KONGS, NYLABONES & JOLLY BALLS are sure to insure many hours of fun and socialization while out to play. In the summer every play yard has its own kiddy pool with fresh water. They pools actually have a shower heads to fill them. All our guest will get lots love and attention.
We always talk to our little visitors by name, give treats often and much love. REMEMBER PLAY TIME IS INCLUDED WITH EVERY STAY!!!

Our Home is attached to our kennel. The kennel is as nice as our home. The kennel has a full kitchen. If your pet requires a special meal we can do it. The kennel is temperature controlled. The kennel is heated and air conditioning. All kennels have Rubber Matt or Cabana Beds. All dogs have plenty of room to stretch out and relax in their indoor kennels. All guests are allowed out of their kennels every 1 to 2 hours throughout the day to play in the 5 large play yards. Dogs that enjoy the company of other dogs, we offer supervised play times together with friends.
We offer an area just for our smaller guests if desired. We have a small dog area, same great care, but they have their own area and their own play yard, just for them. They all have their own kennel and soft crate pad.
You are always welcome to bring your pets beds, blankets and toys from home, to help them feel more comfortable. However, we are not responsible for lost or damaged items as sometime they share.
Our boarding experience is set up for Social Dogs. First-timers will be evaluated to ensure social-ness for their safety and others. This helps to make sure everyone, stay is enjoyable and safe.
We feed our guest according the schedule you provide us upon check in. We strongly encourage owners to bring their own food due to the possibility of upset stomach's, but we will gladly provide our own food (American Natural Premium) if requested, at an additional charge of $5 per day. Treats are given throughout the day and at bedtime. Lots of tails wagging when they see you coming with the TREAT JAR! Fresh water is always available inside and out. For days that the weather is inclement (too cold, rainy, or too hot). We go in and out more often and on the house bones or kongs are given to help with the more time indoors. |
$30.00 - 1st Dog, $20.00 each additional dog, same family, same kennel, daily.
3 Kennel sizes 3' x 5' ~ typically ~ 1 large dog or 2 small dogs
5' x 5' ~ typically 2 large dogs or 3-4 small dogs
5' x 10' ~ typically 4 large dogs, same family.
Puppies under 6 months of age $40, daily
We do board intact dogs for $45.00, daily.
In season girls will not be boarded.
Boarding is per calendar day, drop off & pick up days count. Example: Monday AM drop off and Tuesday AM pick up, is 2 days
NO EXTRA CHARGE FOR:
Extra potty breaks, Play time in the Large Play yard, Administering Medication. Please bring medication/s original container.
We require that you provide pill pockets for medications....if you do not bring pill pockets, they are available in our store.
No request is too big or too small to make your pets stay with us the most ENJOYABLE!

VACCINESDogs must be up to date on Rabies, Distemper and Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccinations. Proof of current vaccinations can be emailed (sungoldenkennelsllc@gmail.com) prior to your pets stay or you may bring a copy with you at check-in. |
ADDITIONAL SERVICES
Sun-Golden Kennels is proud to offer Grooming services to any dog who is boarding, Sharon is a Master Groomer with 30+ years of grooming experience.
We offer baths, bubble baths, doggie massages to full grooms. Full grooms include bath, blow dry and professional trim of your choice.
We have many ala-carte options: Nail Trims, Anal Glands or Ears Cleaned.
Other Extras that can be added to your pets stay are KONGS & NATURE WALKS & DAYCARE these are sure to make any dog HAPPY!

We are small kennel with limited number of spaces on any given day....All Major Holidays and Summer fill up fast. We are usually full from Spring Break through Labor Day, especially weekends. During this period we encourage you when booking to book the days that you need, not extras on the end or the beginning, this is not fair to others who we have to turn away because we believe we are full. If pick up is shortened during the stay, you will be charged for the additional day/s. If you drop off later than what we have you scheduled for again there will be an additional days charge. We understand plans change, but this is a busy time and we try to accommodate as many as possible. |
CANCELLATION POLICY
We are small kennel with limited number of spaces on any given day we are at 100% capacity. If you cancel last minute or no show this is loss of revenue for us. The Holidays & Summer & Weekend are generally full with a waiting list. These dates fill early & fast, so we encourage you to book early.
GENERAL CANCELLATION Once you have requested a reservation through our online form, you may adjust it but it must include at least one of your original dates. Deposits are non-refundable.
HOLIDAYS, BUSY SEASON & WEEKEND CANCELLATION ADJUSTMENTS to Holiday and Busy Season reservations require 3 days notice for the drop off or pickup day changes. CANCELLATION you will owe 100% of the days you had booked. NO EXCEPTION

FAQ'S Why is Sun-Golden Kennel unique? "Pups stay becomes a sleep over slumber party" You're saying our dog will be playing with other dogs! "Exactly, but it's for each owner to decide" What about our dogs safety? "Each pup is evaluated for behavior." How long will the dogs be outside? "Pup will be outside through out the day as much as possible age, health and weather permitting" Approx. every 2 hours through out the day your pet will be offered to go outside." So this is just like dog day care? "Yes it is! The only time pup is apart will be for feeding and sleeping. The next morning is sure to be one more fun day for pup."
Whether it's chasing a ball with a buddy, going for a brisk or leisurely walk in the countryside, kicking back in their comfy home away from home to chew on a bone, your pet will find something to enjoy while a guest of Sun-Golden Kennels. Dogs are very social animals and love to play, we try to get as much playing in as possible, makes for a good nights sleep and ready to do it again the next day. |
